Romita Asrani, CPA

Ms. Asrani manages our Tax Compliance and Accounting Department under the supervision of the Firm's attorneys. Ms. Asrani came to us from the national (24 office) accounting firm, Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, where she was a manager. She was offered partner status before joining this Firm. Prior to then (1990), Ms. Asrani was a staff accountant with the international accounting firm, KPMG Peat Marwick.

Ms. Asrani has a strong background in individual, estate, and trust income tax compliance and related closely held business tax issues. She is also well versed in estate and gift tax planning which, along with additional developments and staff additions at the Firm, further entrenches us as a leading provider of comprehensive estate and tax planning on the Treasure Coast of Florida.

Ms. Asrani holds a CPA license in Florida and is a member of the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and the Estate Planning Council of Palm Beach County. She is the former Treasurer and Executive Board Member of the Women's Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County, is the former Chairperson of the Finance/Budget Committee of the Chamber, and is a member of the Health Facilities Authority Board of Palm Beach County.

Alice B. Sallman, CPA

Mrs. Sallman manages our estate and trust administration departments under the supervision of the Firm's attorneys. Mrs. Sallman has in excess of 15 years of experience in tax planning, preparation of estate and fiduciary returns, including charitable remainder trust and gift tax returns. She has been a CPA since 1978 and holds a B.A. in Education from the University of Florida. Mrs. Sallman is a member of the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. Prior to joining the Firm, Mrs. Sallman was with Mehlich, Roegiers, Goldin & Co. in Stuart, Florida where she served as an Accounting Supervisor/Senior Accountant.

Darlene L. Michna

joined the Firm in 1999 as a tax accountant after practicing with the Atlanta, Georgia accounting firm, Bray, Marsh & McConnell since 1996. Ms. Michna has 17 years of experience in financial statement and tax return preparation and tax planning. Ms. Michna's background includes substantial experience in state and federal tax preparation for individuals, partnerships, and corporations, bank account reconciliation analysis, and general accounting. Ms. Michna anticipates her CPA in February, 2001. She obtained a B.S. degree in Accounting and a B.S. degree in Management Information Systems in 1995 from Florida Atlantic University and Florida International University, respectively.

Chris G. Bordeau, CPA

joined the firm as a Staff Accountant in our Tax Department. Mr. Bordeau holds a B.A. in Accounting from the Florida Atlantic University. He was previously with George R. Ponczek andprior to there with Wieseneck, Andres & Co. His background lies in federal and state, corporate, individual, partnership and fiduciary tax preparation compilation, and review.
